Sakura Set

Inspired by the delicate Japanese confectioneries called mochi. I wanted to capture the simple pleasure of buying a box of mochi on a spring day through these pieces.

Mainichi “毎日” means “everyday”.

I chose this name because I have a lot of respect for the people that get up at early hours to do what they love. For them, it’s like a rhythm of life, their everyday.

The design invokes a sense of nostalgia for when we were young, an appreciation for the sweet treats and the art of making them.
